Sandy beaches, quaint shops, cozy cottages, and some of the county's most scenic shoreline parks makes Jacksonport a place to visit on your trip to Door County. Two of the great parks in Door County, Cave Point Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park, are located just a few miles south of Jacksonport. At Cave Point, stand on the Rocky Bluff and watch Lake Michigan carve sea caves beneath your feet. Whitefish Dunes has more than a mile of sandy beaches, the highest sand dunes in Wisconsin, and 14 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and skiing.
